I find photos of retired equipment fascinating, a great way to travel back in time.
The big machine on yellow flatbed outside Catawissa Bottling Co is called either a soaker or bottle washer, I have heard both terms. It carries bottles (lots of them!) on an endless chain through a number of tanks where they get wash, caustic, rinse etc cycles and come out onto the bottling line clean and ready for use.
